Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wandering Plans!

As you will see, this is my very first blog entry. I’m so excited to start this journey and create a community where we can share all things productivity, planning, and living with intention.

A Little About Me

My name’s Tracey. I’m a 39-year-old working mum with two beautiful little children, currently living in Australia. My love for planning started way back in high school, where I first discovered the joy of stationery and organizing my days. Now, as a busy working mum, I don’t always have the luxury of spending hours on planning and journaling, but I’m on a journey to streamline my processes—so I can stay on top of life’s activities while still finding joy in writing things down daily.

Why Wandering Plans?

The name Wandering Plans comes from my lifelong tendency to explore and try new things. I have always wandered—not in a lost way, but in a way that brings discovery, clarity, and purpose. Whether it’s through my career, my love for the outdoors, or my planning systems, I find joy in the unknown. To me, wandering isn’t about being directionless—it’s about embracing the journey while keeping sight of what truly matters.

This blog is where structure meets spontaneity, where planning allows for freedom. My goal is to help busy mums like me plan with intention and wander with freedom—balancing the need for organization with the desire to live a fulfilling, adventurous life.

What to Expect

Starting this blog, I hope to document my journey in all things planning, productivity, and projects. I’ll be sharing tips, strategies, and reflections on what works (and what doesn’t!), all while building a community of like-minded individuals who want to get organized without feeling restricted.

I plan to post weekly, and my next few posts will reflect on my current planning system for 2025 and what I hope to achieve in the next year. I’d love to hear from you—what aspects of planning and productivity do you find most challenging? Let’s start the conversation!

Thanks for being here—I can’t wait to share this journey with you! 😊
